Description 1 metal dagger in a metal scabbard. Scabbard has remnants of leather for attaching to a belt or holder of some sort. This dagger is similar to a WW2 German dress bayonet, it has a bird's head pommel, but has metal grips (not rubber) and a metal scabbard (not leather).

Item once belonged to Sergeant Charles Irvine Henderson who fought in WW1.
