Author Bernhardi, von Fredrich Adolf Julius
Publish date 1911
Summary Book: Germany and the Next War, by F. von Bernhardi, who stated in the book, "War is a biological necessity" and that it was in accordance with "the natural law, upon which all the laws of Nature rest, the law of the struggle for existence". Pre WW1.

This book is a military classic. General Friedrich Adolf Julius von Bernhardi, a Prussian general and military strategist, was one of the best-selling authors prior to World War 1. A militarist, he is perhaps best known for this confrontational book Deutschland und der Nachste Krieg (Germany and the Next War), written in 1911. His policy of ruthless aggression with complete disregard of treaties, and his view of war as a 'divine business', left an impact that was picked up by both the Kaiser, and later Adolf Hitler.
