Abstract Letter to Mrs. Redwood, Spring Creek, Blenheim from "The Chairman", Board of Land Purchase Commissioner, Government Buildings, Wellington, dated 2 September 1919.

"Madam: I am now authorised to offer you the sum of sixty-four pounds per acre, not including White crops, for the area offered by you but not including the twelve acres (detached). Total 245 acres, more or less.

Payment in Cash or part Cash and part War Bonds. Delivery end next March. Rates and Taxes to be paid to end of March.

All buildings, with fittings, fences, gates, growing timber, to be left intact. The area cut off from paddock to be fenced by you on new boundary. The necessary access across the Spring Creek to be granted at a point to be fixed by the Commissioner of Crown Lands."
