Mr. and Mrs. G.F. Watts of Lansdowne extended their original offer of 1,000 pounds towards the cost of the proposed clock tower in Seymour Square, to finding the full price of the clock and bells, with an automatic silencing apparatus by which the authorities can stop the chimes at any time. The total cost will be about 1,352 pounds.
