Description Underwood Standard Number 5 manual typewriter. Machine made by Stott & Underwood, 70 Pitt Street, Sydney, Australia. Has patents and maker's information on the back. Patent dates from June 22, 1909 to January 12, 1926. Typewriter has a brown Olivetti cover which has since been discarded. Has white keys, whether they are glass or not is difficult to determine. Has no spool caps, but may have had them originally.
