| Description |
Brother electronic typewriter, personal type, model P.Y. 80. It is a white plastic portable without a case for carrying it around in. Made in China. Operates on an Ac adapter or 6 x D size batteries (batteries now discarded). Numbers on the back include the serial number M65206860. This model is still available for sale on the internet. It began manufacture in 1996 [source: manualowl.com - for Brother personal type].
Purchased for Archives staff to use. Found in Archives Library January 2013. Megan Ross, archives manager, does not need it so it can be stored in the Museum collection.
