Collection	Blenheim Post Office
Description	35 line telephone exchange equipment ex New Zealand Post Office. The label with this exchange has: Manual telephone switchboard from the Blenheim telephone Exchange c.1930. Possibly given to MHS by Roger Thwaites who worked at the Blenheim Post Office along with Ron Laird. The exchange Ron Laird gave to the Society came in pieces [source: telephone conversation Ron Laird with Steve Austin 29 May 2012]. Recorded by Kevin Andrews and Derek Cordes in the MHS acquisitions book 1983-1986. Most items were probably put in the Main Store in Beavertown (Jenny Pierson, 27/12/2012).
