Caption 79 The 1902 celebrations for the coronation of King Edward VII, a crowd has gathered in Market Place in front of the Post Office. High on the festooned frontage, is a centrally-placed banner with the words God Save the King. We can see in the foreground, however, a New Zealand ensign, and six horse-drawn vehicles. The nearest, is a curious four-wheeler, low in construction, and with tiny wheels, possibly used for commercial deliveries. 1998.165.0002
