Starborough Station's homestead. The property with its former headquarters where Seddon now stands, dated back to 1849. Later, it incorporated Wakefield Downs (the Seaview Downs area), and Marathon (on the Western side). In the 1860s, it comprised about 5,600 ha (14,000 acres). The photo shows a 14 room rambling homestead, with an addition at the left. After the station was subdivided in 1899, the house underwent modernisation. 2009.067.0048
