Copied from an original J.R. Akersten photograph. Photograph shows the tram bridge over the Brown River in the Rai Valley area, 1911. There is a team of four horses hauling a log crossing the bridge. This bridge was used for hauling logs to Robertson's Mill, Rai. Mount Rimu is visible in the background.
Written on the front of the photograph is, "Tram Bridge, Rai Valley. Protected 1911 "Akersten" Photo[graph]".
