Description |
Pulling a stump with a horse in Brownlee's bush, 1903. There are two horses with chains attached to a tree stump, one horse is pulling.
Copied by Norm Brayshaw in 1960 from a photograph supplied by Miss Rose Moore, Havelock.
A scan of this photograph is to be used in the Changing European History Gallery 2 display in commemoration of the Marlborough Provincial 150th anniversary on 1 November 2009. ................................................................................................................................................................................Caption 44 Horse power!
