A black and white photograph showing a tall, freshly painted round marker with a dark coloured plaque at the base.
Information as typed by Norm Brayshaw: "The reconstructed Rutland Maker [Marker] above Mountail [Mountain] Camp Creek deplicting [depicting] the discovery of gold by Rutlands, Harris and Wilson."
Taken by Norm Brayshaw in 1965. Includes a negative.
A scan of this photograph is to be used in the Changing European History Gallery 2 display in commemoration of the Marlborough Provincial 150th anniversary on 1 November 2009.
