| Description |
Woman's cream crochet and silk nightcap. Found in collection in 2010 by Textiles manager, Pam Saunders, with no donor information. This cap is bottom third left in image 2.
Construction details:
Made of crepe de chene. Cream crochet band stitched onto a band of lightly gathered cream silk and finishes with a circle of crochet at top. Silk ribbon in purple with yellow edges is threaded through the crochet band and finishes over each ear in a small rosette. |
