Description Woman's long black mantilla/scarf made of machine lace with handsewn pieces of chiffon appliqued underneath. Three cornered, it has crepe material "flowers" appliquéd with blanket stitch and scalloped edges. Fabric/Weave: Lace/crepe. The crepe has shattered in some places. Some cream "spatters" of paint? on one flower and on the lace in that area.

There is no record of this mantilla or the gown it is displayed with being donated to MHS, so they are being catalogued as Found in Collection.
