Description Dress and cape ensemble, 1970, labelled "Pure New Zealand Virgin Wool", trade mark number 13. Made in white and black woollen plaid with red, yellow and white tartan pattern (possibly Campbell tartan). The cape has a black woollen lapel (13cm) which stretches to the hem. The cape is a half circle. Cut out of one piece of material with shaping on the shoulders. Slits (20cm) for the hands are set in the centre 4cm from lapels. Length from centre back is 100cm.

This ensemble was worn by Boreen Blythe who ran a Blenheim shop in Maxwell Road specialising in designer gowns and corsetry.
