Description Cotton veil (worn with the wax headpiece in catalogue record 0000.600.0224 and sewn to it), originally belonging to Mrs. Marjorie Annette Irving nee Wensley who married Mr. Douglas Carlyle Irving at the Church of Nativity on 15 April 1953. Two layers pleated onto the headdress. Fractured in many parts and has pulled off the headdress on one side. A small amount of appliqued net flowers outlined with lurex thread scattered over the veil.
