Description Wedding wreath of wax flowers c.1900. 30cm long and 4.5cm high. The flowers symbolise myrtle, which was sacred to the Goddess of love, Aphrodite. From Victorian times myrtle was popular and much used as a good luck wedding blessing. Some flowers missing.

Used with Miss Janet Gordon McNeish's wedding dress during the display in the Museum on 17th December 2009 as her original headwear was not donated.
