Collection MHS (unaccessioned) Textiles
Description Ladies black satin afternoon apron, with gold/bronze/green coloured hand-embrodiery of ferns and ears of corn. Found in Cob Cottage by Beryl Robertson and taken home to be washed and ironed. Returned to MHS August 2009.

The number 153 is written on a tape attached to the apron hem and can be referenced to a red Olympic exercise book held by Textiles which says the number relates to objects kept in Girlings Shop in Brayshaw Heritage Park. At some time this apron has been removed from there and taken to Cob Cottage.
