Description |
Wedding gown of Ray Trolove who married Michael Dillon in 1939. Gowns of the 1930s were usually cut on the bias with minimal decoration relying on the line and richness of fabric for effect. This gown is unusual for the time with its palest of pink voile and featuring stylised flowers when most gowns were white or off-white. The train is dramatically full and long.
