Spirit Tables, Sikes's Hydrometer. Found in the Bythell Collection by Archives Manager (Megan Ross) in February 2008. It is a book of tables to be used with Sikes's hydrometre and consists of Part I and part II.
Part I is for acertaining the strength of spirits at temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheight.
Part II is for determining the weight per gallon of spirits by Sikes's hydrometer.
A note glued in the back says, "Whisky Breaking May 1928" with a recipe following.
