Description |
"Vintage Car Club Museum, Brayshaw Park. A view taken from Modeller's Patch". The sign on this side is from a Shell Oil (New Zealand) Limited gargae, with a "Big Tree" sign underneath. Big Tree, an early brand of petrol, was originally sold in tins by A.S. Patterson. Shell took it over, but continued to sell the brand through its garages.
Part of the Brayshaw Park, Beavertown photographic inventory, taken by Roger Thwaites about 1985. Possibly at the November 1985 open day.
