Billy Carr's Hardware shop: No caption, but includes various tools and hardware. Labels are: A reminder of the 1930s depression days - replaceable cup handle, Glazed earthenware rolling pin, Early hair curlers, Lamp mantle - very fragile, Silver hat pin cushion (0000.800.0272), Fly paper unrolled and hung to catch flies, Button hook for high legged boots, Apple peeler and corer. Apple was fitted on end and handle turned, ?... peeler ... 1885, Sausage making machine, .... one hair brush. Made in the thousands by Charleston and McPherson in factory which stood on site of Taylors Shoeing works. Now Scott Street car park. Brush made about 1945. Written on the brush itself is "WWII [World War 2]. Objects include: Candles and candle holders, Glass cups and saucers, A bundle of forks, Pot Pourri tins - Trent Old English, Nail file and holder.
