Akersten Photograph Album 1
Marlborough Historical Society has received a large number of photograph and postcard albums for its collection.
This exhibit displays the Akersten Photograph Album 1. James Raglan Akersten was a local photographer active in the early 1900's. This is a brown buckram covered album containing 36 sepia, 6 x 8 photographic prints, one of which is of John Alexander Couper standing at the junction of the Rai and Pelorus rivers.
