Description
One neck yoke for carrying liquids in two pails, with chains for carrying still intact. Found in Billy Carr's shop in Beavertown by Steve Austin on 10 May 2011 and removed to the museum on 25th May. John Orchard told the Registrar, Jenny Pierson, that there is also another yoke in the Museum Storeroom (see 0000.800.1027). The yoke in the European Kitchen display in 2011 is a replica used for teaching and belongs to Heritage Education. It was donated to John Orchard, the teacher. Images 2 and 3 are of the replica. Registrar, Jenny Pierson, is wearing it in image 3.
