A six-sided, wooden, thimble holder. The doors open and close and each door has accommodation for 3 thimbles. See related field for the thimbles from this holder.
7 May 2013, Jenny Pierson: one of the small metal thimble holders (see images 3 & 4) was found amongst the objects brought out of Cob Cottage on 23 January 2013 and put in the General Collection. It has been bagged and put in the holder's home location. |
