The stables are an integral part of Beavertown where horse-drawn vehicles are displayed along with all the paraphernalia needed to use them.

During the summer buggy rides around the park are available. There is a blacksmith's forge, where sometimes a volunteer will demonstrate making horseshoes, and around the building are displays of tools used by, amongst others, blacksmiths, wheelwrights, saddlers and bushmen
