Collection MHS (unaccessioned) General
Description Green buggy, a four-wheeled family vehicle. This is a Whitechapel buggy, a bit more 'up-market' than the one in catalogue record 0000.800.0814. It has been restored by Bert Tuckerman and Ted Finch and the wheelwright was the late Gerard Smith of Kaikoura. This buggy has no lamps, but their attachments are on each side and come out from the seat, as can be seen in image 3. This photograph shows the buggy with shafts, not a pole. A pole is used with two horses. The shafts are used with one horse.

Two Goulter men had a meeting with CE, Steve Austin, on 2nd August 2010 and after viewing this buggy assured him it never belonged to their family.
