Date 1920s
Description Philips five valve T.R.F. [Tuned Radio Frequency] radio of the late 1920s. 230 volt , with a separate speaker. The switch on the lid of the case was a wise precaution as the 240 volts H.T. [High Tension] was applied to the exposed terminal on top of the valves. Weight, with speaker, is 50 pounds (22.5 kg).
