Beavertown Fire Station: Ford Universal car 1923 Model T, registration number CK1923. It is a personel carrier with its own ladder (see image 9). Originally from the Milton Volunteer Fire Brigade - their initials are on the side (see image 8) -and coachwork by Markham Motors Limited, Dunedin, it is the type of vehicle that would tow the hose reel in catalogue 0000.895.0006. Purchased by MHS from Southwards Motor Museum in Wellington. |
