Taken from the photograph: "Seddon. Awatere Bridge. The temporary bridge over the Awatere River while the road decking on the Road/Rail bridge is being replaced. Taken from a train on the upper deck in March 1962 by Norm Brayshaw."
The temporary bridge was located downstream from the road/rail bridge. |
