Abstract Newspaper article on the opening of the Blenheim - Seddon Railway.
Probably from the Marlborough Press 11 October 1902. It includes a full account of the event, a list of the officials, and a report on the speech made by Sir J. G. Ward (Acting Premier). The article also covers a history of the construction of this section of railway line and a breakdown of statistics on revenue and passengers. There is only the first part of the article, the rest is on page four and has not been included.
