"Five-year-old Jennifer Webster, youngest pupil of the Riverlands School, cuts the ribbon to officially open the School's golden jubilee gates at yesterday's ceremony which was attended by over 30 parents and all pupils. The gates, made locally, were presented to the School by the committee which organised its jubilee in March this year and were purchased with surplus funds from the celebration. Also presented yesterday were framed photographs of the School and School Committee to the School Committee and a cheque to the Home and School League".
