Description |
Metal meat mincer for making sausages. It is mounted on a wooden base which would have been attached to a bench. The forcing tube from the front is missing. Meat was fed through the funnel on the top and forced through the machine by tuning the screw handle. Blades inside the mincer cut the meat and forced it out through the pierced plate on the front. Belonged to Walter McNabs family and was donated by his daughter, Betty Bowers. Makers marks: American System no. 12. |
